We've all seen replicas of the world's famous iconic landmarks. But I’m sure most of you haven’t seen this American man’s replica of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Larry Richardson, from the state of Kansas was so fascinated with the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, that he built one of his own in his backyard. The retired postman spent 11 years building this 45-meter replica. He made use of 9-thousand kilograms of concrete and lots of recycled materials to build it. The good thing is, Larry only needed five-thousand dollars to complete this project. Today, the backyard model has become one of Kansas’s most popular roadside attractions and Larry is glad about it.
