    Syrian rebels divided three years into war

    Three years since the start of the Syrian uprising, the civil war has reduced parts of the country to rubble and forced millions from their homes.

    The rebels' military campaign against President Bashar al-Assad's government has had successes and failures. In the beginning, the opposition made a string of military gains - but they soon became embroiled in divisions and infighting.
