The blast in the city of Quetta killed at least 10 people and wounded 35 others.

"It seems to be from an IED. We will investigate further and let you know. As you can see, this is a crowded area with a lot of traffic and people in the street. The blast took place on a roadside."
A separate attack in Peshawar killed at least nine when a suicide bomber blew himself up in front of a police vehicle.
Emergency responders brought the victims to a local hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The blasts happened as the government tries to engage Pakistani Taliban militants in talks to reach a ceasefire and end years of violence.
