Lisbon Fashion Week literally goes to town
- 10 years ago
Fashion shows tend to attract a select crowd, but Lisbon’s ‘Moda Lisboa’ went egalitarian by bringing out the locals, with a big public catwalk in the capital’s main square.
Portuguese designer Nuno Gama treated onlookers to his autumn-winter collection, apparently inspired by Portugal’s 16th century Manueline architecture.
Indoors, Filipe Faisca also unveiled his designs for the next autumn/winter season.
Dark browns, with blacks and reds made from wool, mohair and silk; the dominant theme throughout.
Lisbon Fashion week returns with its 2015 Spring and Summer collection in October.
