Directed by Satish Kaushik, Gang of Ghosts is a paranormal comedy film and a Hindi remake of Bengali film Bhooter Bhabishyat.
The film stars Sharman Joshi, Parambrata Chatterjee, Mahi Gill, Anupam Kher, Meera Chopra, J. Brandon Hill, Rajesh Khattar, Saurabh Shukla, Rajpal Yadav, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Verma, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, and others in their respective roles.
The grand old mansions and mills of South Mumbai are being razed to the ground to make way for swanky malls and Multiplexes. Some of these rundown disputed buildings were haunted by Ghosts who had taken shelter there over centuries.
Royal Mansion is one such heritage property which is rented out for film shoots to facilitate its maintenance. A heroine faints during a shooting allegedly sighting Ghost in a mirror. A filmmaker on a reconnaissance trip to the building gets to hear of a spooky story revolving around the house. But is it just a tall tale or is there a twist in the 'tail'?
With a blend of song, dance, drama, romance, action and even an item number, 'GANG OF GHOSTS' has all the Filmi Masala as well as some food for thought.
