2nd day of nuclear talks between Iran, P5+1 underway in Vienna

    by PressTV

The second day of expert-level nuclear talks between Iran and the permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany has kicked off in the Austrian capital.

The two sides are working to hammer out a comprehensive deal following a landmark nuclear accord reached in Geneva last November. Wednesday's talks revolved around issues such as uranium enrichment, Arak heavy-water reactor in central Iran, and the peaceful nuclear cooperation with Tehran. Under the initial agreement, Iran agreed to scale back its nuclear activities for six months in exchange for relief from sanctions imposed by the West.
