European Union leaders are holding an emergency meeting in Brussels on the crisis in Ukraine.
The leaders of the 28-member EU bloc will decide how to respond to Russia's troop deployment in Ukraine's Crimea region. Some European countries have already called for tough sanctions against Russia. But some others, including Germany, want a negotiated solution to the crisis. Prior to the meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yat-sen-yuk held a press conference with European Parliament President Martin Schulz. Yat-sen-yuk urged Russia to withdraw its forces from Crimea.
