World's ultra-wealthy want a London home

UK estate agent Knight Frank has published its latest annual global wealth survey, which shows that the number of ultra high net worth individuals has risen despite the global economic crisis. Grainne Gilmore, head of UK residential research at Knight Frank, said that London remianed the number one destination of choice among the super rich, which has boosted sales of high end luxury properties in the UK capital. Gilmore also said that the survey showed a rise in in the number of super rich individuals in places such as Spain and Ireland, which were among the worst hit European nations in the global debt crisis.
