The leaders of the seven major industrialized nations have denounced Russia's action in Ukraine.
They also say they've suspended their participation in the G8 summit's preparatory talks due in the coming days in the Russian city of Sochi. The decision comes after the Group of Seven issued a statement saying Russia's actions are incompatible with the principles of G8. Members of the group are also expected to take part in its annual summit in June in the Russian city. But they're already threatening to expel Russia from the alliance after Moscow's troops deployment in Ukraine's Crimea region.
