Thailand's anti-government protesters will end a seven-week long campaign to paralyze the capital city.
The demonstrators promised to significantly scale back their presence on the streets of Bangkok, and gather in the park instead.
The move is seen as a conciliatory gesture that could lead to eased tensions.
It comes a day after protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban made a conditional offer to hold negotiations with the caretaker government.
