The first look trailer of the romantic comedy movie '2 States' is finally out, and seems like it's going to be a complete fun-loving and entertaining film of the year.

Based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel of the same name, the movie features two young, hot and promising actors of Bollywood -- Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt -- in lead roles. The promo starts with a cracking chemistry between them, where they are first seen studying in the same college and then falls in love with each other. Now the major hiccup lands on their love-road are their respective families.
While Alia is a girl from South Indian family, Arjun comes from a typical North Indian family. Although the couple are happy to get hitched for lifetime, but seems like their parents have an altogether different opinion about this relationship.
Going by the promo, the film not only tells us about a romantic comedy drama where North meets South, but it majorly focuses on how love becomes a medium to meet two poles apart cultures.
Directed by Abhishek Varman, the film also stars Ronit Roy, Amrita Singh, Shiv Kumar Subramaniam and Revathy as respective parents of Arjun and Alia in the film. '2 States' is all set to release in theatres on 18 April 2014.
