X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse for the Nintendo GameCube developed by Raven Software and published by Activision.
Human sacrifice, the X-Men and the Brotherhood working together…it’s mass hysteria in X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse. This action RPG makes unlikely companions out of sworn enemies, teaming mutants who have been trying to destroy each other for years. With 15 playable characters, including Wolverine, Cyclops, Gambit, Magneto and Bishop, players must bring down Apocalypse and his sinister plans. The game combines action-heavy gameplay with a larger RPG infrastructure, allowing players to constantly level-up and improve their abilities. The change is noticeable, too, as making your mutants more powerful has a clear impact on the gameplay. Players can eventually unlock some insane new abilities that really turn the tide in their favor. X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalypse originally launched with online multiplayer on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, and it supports local co-op.
