Some people go exceptionally far for what they strongly believe in. An unidentified, mysterious man, who recently took part in the Tokyo marathon, showcased his devotion to Jesus Christ by running with a cross on his back.

While dressing up for marathons as part of efforts to garner attention isn’t new, the man’s portrayal of Christ is rather unique. He showcased a long scraggly beard and hair.

It appeared the man skipped out on a wig and instead grew his locks the natural way. His garments, or more precisely his lack thereof, were rather surprising.

Aside from the cross, the only thing covering his body was a bunched up piece of fabric, resembling a loin cloth. He had no shoes on, which left his bare feet slapping the cold, hard pavement with each stride.

The cross, that appears to be larger than him, was firmly attached to his backside.

The male wasn’t seen again after the race, but the pictures of him continue to generate speculations and comments by Netizens.
