Ukraine's acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov says police have issued an arrest warrant for ousted President Victor Yanukovych over the mass murder of peaceful citizens.
Avakov also added that a number of other officials have been put on a police wanted list. Over 80 anti-government protesters have been killed and many others injured in recent weeks. Meantime, EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton is set to arrive in Ukraine later today following the weekend's dramatic changes. Ashton will hold talks with the key players of the crisis-hit country. She has expressed the European Union's support for a lasting solution to the political crisis as well as measures to stabilize the economic situation.
