Germany is already Europe's champion for industrial exports, and is now poised to take the lead in agriculture too. By 2013, exports doubled to just over 65 billion euros in a decade, leaving France trailing behind. Behind the success is a growing expansion in productivity, with farmland, farms and barns all growing in size.
