Thousands join vigil in memory of Iranian asylum seeker

    by PressTV

Australians have held a candle light vigil in memory of a young Iranian asylum seeker killed in a detention center.
Thousands of people in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and other cities joined vigils held for Reza Barati. Prominent community figures from Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities expressed their grievances and sent their condolences to the family of the 23 year old victim. Barati was bashed to death by G-4-S security forces during a riot of asylum seekers on the Manus Island earlier this week.
