A group of Israeli settlers has attacked a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank committing serious acts of vandalism.
Around thirty attackers from the Havat Gilad outpost near Nablus attacked the village of Jit, throwing stones at Palestinians homes and smashing car windows. The incident is the latest in a string of attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian mosques, homes, cemeteries and farmlands. Human rights groups accuse Tel Aviv of ignoring complaints by the victims of settler attacks. The UN says there were over 400 settler attacks in the West Bank in 2013.
