How Think Tanks Took Control of US Govt.

A new and important component of the military industrial complex is the private right-wing think tank. These are paid policymakers who work in secret to create the Bush Administration's propaganda, disseminate talking points to corporate media, and set U.S. foreign policy -- all without being known by or held accountable by the American people. This clip features interviews with William Kristol of the Project for a New American Centrury (PNAC), Air Force Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski, Dan Rather, and a man who lost his son in the WTC on 9/11. It tells the story of how PNAC created falsehoods and fantasies in the wake of 9/11 to justify their pre-9/11 plans to invade Iraq and Afghanistan.
