A lighting engineer in England is one of only 50 people in the world to become a full-fledged ninja. 48-year-old Jake Sharpstone recently got back from a special ceremony in Japan where Bujinkan Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi awarded him the rank of 15th Dan, the highest level of Ninjutsu. Jake is one of only 50 living people to ever reach the level of 15th Dan, and we're guessing he's the only lighting engineer/ninja. Jake, who lives in Brighton, runs the city’s only Bujinkan Ninjutsu dojo, but works full time as an energy efficient LED lighting technician. Jake started training as a Bujinkan Ninja in 1989 and still trains every day, using real weapons such as throwing stars, swords, and staffs.
