It’s tough to muster up a happy face after days of seemingly non-stop snow storms. Residents of Coatesville, Pennsylvania may be a little more cheerful than the rest of us folks, thanks to a giant snowman that recently wedded a companion.
James Weaver, the owner of Weaver’s Mulch Company built a 15 foot snowman in the parking lot of his store. Weaver’s employees utilized loaders to build up a pile and carved it into a snowman using shovels and rakes.
Shortly after completing the massive and attention grabbing Mr. Snowman, a nor’easter left behind even more white stuff to deal with. Instead of just pushing the newest snowfall to the side, Weaver decided to make a partner for the existing snowman.
He and his son switched it up a bit and turned the old snowman into the lady. With the new snow, they built a bigger creation and turned it into the man. A truck tire and wooden spool were used for the hat.
The snow crafted couple married the night before Valentine’s day. Weaver stated “A lot of people stop and take pictures. People are so tired of the snow and it seems to sort of put a smile on their face when they see it.”
