Search continues for missing Japanese divers

Indonesia search and rescue teams continue to comb Bali coastal waters on Sunday (February 16) where seven Japanese divers are reportedly missing.

The seven Japanese tourists were reported missing on Friday (February14) at 07.00 pm local time.

Officials confirmed they were all female and diving in the Nusa Lembongan waters on Friday around 1.30 pm local time. Police said after an hour they had not come to the surface.

The tourism agent operator who brought the tourists to the diving spot, had searched the diving location but failed to find them.

Officials with the Bali National Search and Rescue, said the team has not found any clues or signs of where the divers might be but have alerted people to keep an eye out for clues.
