MY STRANGE ADDICTION: Woman sniffs and chews on pee-soaked diapers!

Keyshia, a 22-year-old woman from Queens, New York who obsessively sniffs and chews on dirty diapers was featured in an episode of TLC's show My Strange Addiction on January 15.
In a trailer for the show, the young woman, known only as Keyshia, unabashedly explains that she is addicted to diapers made heavy with baby waste, particularly urine.
"It has to have pee in it. IT. HAS. TO. HAVE. PEE. IN. IT." she explains.
The expectant mother who is engaged to be married developed the smelly habit about two years ago, according to the show. She estimates that she has sniffed through about 25,000 used disposable diapers since her habit began.
The diaper fiend gets her fix from both friends and strangers and her boyfriend said her addiction is so great she will even rummage through rubbish cans to score.
Truly an addict, Keyshia squirrels away the dirty balled up nappies throughout her daily life. She leaves them in dresser drawers, in her handbag, in the trunk of her car and near her bed while she's sleeping. In the show, she is shown nibbling on diapers while she cooks and takes a break from a meal for a quick sniff before eating again.
According to reports, Keyshia attempts to break her unusual habit, though it's difficult.
"I'm going to smell them one last time then you can have them," she said during the episode.
Reports never quite indicate how she got started sniffing the soiled baby rags, nor is there any explanation as to why she might do this.
She assures the audience that the satisfaction she gets from it is genuine, however.
"No, for real. The taste is good," she says to the camera, giggling and holding a diaper to her mouth like a sandwich.
