    by ulaghchi

Host Rob Sachs talks with Ingrid Anne Kleespies, an assistant professor in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies at the University of Florida.

In her book "A Nation Astray: Nomadism and National Identity in Russian Literature,” Ingrid Anne Kleespies takes a look a Russian literature through the lens of vastness in Russia and how a wandering culture shaped all aspects of life in the 19th century. Her book features reviews of works by authors such as Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Alexander Pushkin. Her goal is to better understand the commonalities of Russian literature of the time.
