It's been 50 years since The Beatles made their way to the US and changed music forever, and now Apple is commemorating that with a special channel on the Apple TV. For a limited time, Apple TV owners will be able to view The Beatles' back-to-back performances on The Ed Sullivan Show 50 years ago. The channel popped up on the company's set-top box on Sunday, and is free to download. The new channel follows several Beatles-related efforts Apple is making on its iTunes store, including full access to the band's US albums and a "Beatles in America" station on iTunes Radio.
The familiar award-season refrain "it's just nice to be nominated" will be celebrated Monday at the motion picture academy's annual luncheon honoring Oscar nominees in all 24 categories. More than 150 nominees — from hairstylists and makeup artists to auteur directors and A-list actors — are expected to attend the affair at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. The guest list includes "American Hustle" stars Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper; Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto of "Dallas Buyers Club"; Sandra Bullock of "Gravity"; Lupita Nyong'o of "12 Years a Slave"; and many more.

That's his problem…and a cross to bear," "It's like "A Boy Named Sue"…he probably got beat up a lot." Someone break out the popcorn because this is probably only the beginning of the Murray-LaBeouf war of words.
A$AP Illz made his runway debut at the DKNY fall/winter 2014 show during New York Fashion Week, alongside several other "real New Yorkers" who were cast to show off looks from the NY-based label. Alongside Angel Haze and other personalities, artists, and socialites, Illz rocked a layred-up all-black outfit that looked like it'd put him right at home next to fellow Mob member A$AP Rocky. Who knows if this runway look is an indication that Illz is adding designer gear into a streetwear-heavy roation. Designer Donna Karen said she chose to use New Yorkers on the runway because,"DKNY really is about the streets.
