A Friend In The Pow: Faction Candide Thovex 3.0 Ski [Review]

Today I had the pleasure to test drive the Candide Thovex 3.0 ski from Faction. Powder was everywhere and this ski easily made it one of the best days I've had on the slope this year.

The 183cm I rode is just 8.16 pounds per pair. Pretty impressive for a ski that measures 142/112/132mm. This is made possible by using Faction's Superlite hybrid balsa/flax sandwich core.
For 2013/2014 Faction has removed all camber to make it flat underfoot. Rocker in the tip and tail kept me on top of the deepest and even sent a message to my mind to try some tricks. My mind may have been willing, but my body was not.

Light enough to tour and beefy enough to float the powder, these skis could take you to the top of the steepest mountain while still allowing you to have fun at the resort.
