"Monuments Men" praise director Clooney at Berlin

It's a stellar cast that makes up George Clooney's latest directorial outing, "Monuments Men".

Stars like Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett and Bill Murray tell the story of art experts tasked with retrieving artistic treasure stolen by the Germans during World War Two.

Marshalling so much talent wasn't hard though, Clooney joked. All you needed was a bit of tough love.

"That's how you have to treat them. What you learn over a period of time is you can't treat actors nice. You have to be tough with them. And I found if you don't pay them then they'll work really hard just for food."

The stars of the film turned out to screaming fans at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Matt Damon and Bill Murray both said Clooney deserved all the praise he was getting.
