Herve Leger unveils futuristic femme fatale

The husband and wife designers of fashion label Herve Leger by Max Azria are taking their cues from the future for Fall 2014, with the whole design team inspired by technology and the idea of fusing the reality with future, half of the design duo's Lubov Azria said of the brand's runway show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) in New York on Saturday (February 8). The skintight bandage dress, famous for strips of fabric that hug a woman's body in all the right places, was given futuristic upgrades through the mixture of different textiles, beadings and hemlines. The bandage dress is traditionally made with a sweater knit fabric. Models wearing dresses with sexy cutouts, luxurious feather fringes and mesh detailing strutted down the runway. Fringes on dresses and motorcycle jackets in luxurious furs cooled down the sexy feel.
