Original Dixieland One Step Carlings 1985

From a jazz presentation during a Christmas church concert in Sweden in 1985 we listen to the Carling Family from Goteborg. Father Hans announces the tune Original Dixieland One Step.
9 year old Gunhild realizes that this tune has to be played on another instrument. She places her trombone on the music stand and goes to the back to get her miniature trombone. This instrument is actually called a slide trumpet.
In one of the photos of the 1923 King Oliver Creole Jazz Band we see that Louis Armstrong owned one of these as well. Gunhild already has tremendous chops and sometime later started playing cornet and trumpet as well.
Hans on trumpet, Max on clarinet (16), Gunhild (9) on slide trumpet, Gerd (14) on piano, Aina on banjo and Ulf (6) on drums.

Phenomenal Gunhild!!! What will she come up with next. This band is hot, hot, hot!!!

If you can listen to this and not smile or somehow keep your feet from tapping, please get your heart checked by a doctor, you may be dead! Great stuff! Glad to see your collection still resides on the Internet (stupid YouTube!).
