New York quartet Gay For Johnny Depps 2004 debut EP, Erotically Charged Dance Songs For The Desperate (Firefly Records) was an uneasy homage or, dare we say it, a homo-age to one of Tinseltowns most fuckable, a five-track tale of unrequited lust dripping with the type of wanton graphic lust and degradations last heard in the works of the Marquis de Sade. Clearly, this was hardcore - in the original sense.
