But old habits die hard. 2014 began with David Cameron penning a column in the Times of London blasting those who borrow and spend - the French, in other words. This Friday, Cameron and Hollande decided to set the record straight with the first UK-France summit in four years. The two leaders even managed to squeeze in a pub lunch.
