It's a sheer joy watching babies learn to walk. And that just doesn't pertain to humans.

Recently, a three-month-old Aussie pup named Abby got to take her first steps with help from a Massachusetts based company, Eddie’s Wheels.

When the adorable puppy was only a week old, she suffered from a debilitating spinal cord injury which is what led her to Eddie’s Wheels.

Her journey in learning to walk was captured on video.

The wheels were attached to the small dog’s backside. It didn’t take long for her to get moving.

In just a matter of seconds, the pup put one paw in front of the other. After the first few shaky steps, she took off and ran across the room.

Abby also received physical therapy. Outfitted with the wheels once again, she was placed on a treadmill to get her accustomed to being on the go.

As she rapidly grows over the next 9 months, the company plans to rent a succession of carts to accommodate her size. The hope is that with continuous movement and therapy, she will eventually be able to walk on her own.
