MDHearingAid: Types of Hearing Loss

http://www.mdhearingaid.com/ - There are two major types of hearing loss: conductive hearing loss and sensory neural hearing loss. Conductive hearing loss involves an issue of sound getting from the outside environment into the inner ear nerve apparatus. Sensory neural hearing loss is a problem with the nerve itself. In these categories there's also levels, such as mild, moderate, moderate severe, severe, and profound. The vast majority of people are mild, moderate, or moderately severe and MD Hearing Aid products are designed to help about 85% of those people in those categories with their hearing loss, whether it's conductive hearing loss or sensory neural or a mix of the two.
