Young Bear Gives CA Tourists the Shock of Their Lives

Recently, a tourist couple who had been visiting Pasadena, California got the shock of their lives after realizing a bear was right behind them.
Bears, despite their massive size, have an incredible ability to sneak up on humans. Recently, a tourist couple, who had been visiting Pasadena, California got the shock of their lives after realizing a bear was right behind them.
The whole ordeal was captured on surveillance footage. Bobby and Irene McKeown walked out the front door of the residence, completely oblivious that a large young bear was standing only mere feet away from them, on their right hand side.
Irene turned around to talk to Bobby while he locked the door. The animal stood still the entire time, just watching the McKeowns.
When they walked away, the curious bear waited a few seconds, then slowly followed them towards their car. Bobby was the first to notice the creature and told his wife to get in the vehicle.
When she was safe, he tried to retreat back inside the home, but the animal managed to nip or claw his calf on the journey. Bob received a tetanus shot, but is expected to be just fine. The bear has not yet been captured.
