The Tasmanian Tiger, or Thylacine, is an extinct animal that used to roam Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea. On July 31st of 1931, a research team discovered that the tiger was still alive, and it remained on the endangered species list until 1982 when it was classified as extinct.
