Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s dinner at a trendy London restaurant was interrupted when a bartender tried to arrest him.

Blair was sitting at a table with family and friends when the man walked up to him and placed a hand on Blair’s shoulder.

The worker then said, “Mr Blair, this is a citizen’s arrest for a crime against peace, namely your decision to launch an unprovoked war against Iraq.”

Blair diffused the situation by trying to engage the man in a discussion about Syria.

When one of Blair’s sons got up to retrieve a member of their security detail, the man fled, quitting his job in the process.

This is not the first time something like this has happened to the former Prime Minister.

Since leaving the government post, Tony Blair has been the subject of a grass roots manhunt for his decision to send soldiers to Iraq, a war that resulted in thousands of casualties.

Thus far, four others have attempted to take Blair to the authorities to face charges for the deaths.

An organization is offering a bounty to the first person successful in doing so.
