Ten flavors of Yuengling's Ice Cream will hit stores in February.
Ice cream… there can never be enough flavors and brands to choose from. Following 29 years of being away from the market, ten flavors of Yuengling's Ice Cream will hit stores in February.
Retailing for a little under $6 per quart, grocery stores in the Mid-atlantic region will be the first to start selling the treats.
A beer flavored ice cream is not currently in the line-up although a black and tan is featured with Belgian chocolate and salty caramel. Other flavors include chocolate, vanilla, root beer and mint chocolate chip.
Some of the newer, unconventional offerings will reflect “current trends in ice cream flavors”. The company will also only use natural and local ingredients, no artificial flavorings or fillers will be added.
Once a part of the D.G. Yuengling & Son Brewery, the ice cream business is now owned by different members of the extended family. The brewery originated in 1829 and during prohibition a side ice cream business was opened and later morphed into Yuengling Dairy Products Corporation.
