Speed up Bittorrent to 4.1Mbps - 2014 Settings

Speed up BitTorrent tutorial will help you to make your BitTorrent download much faster. Your BitTorrent download speed will increase 5-6 times the speed it is downloading now. The setting are tested on BitTorrent version 7.0+

Method: Go to options-- Preferences

2:17 Connections: Port used for incoming connections 45682.
uncheck Randomize port each start.

2:52 Bandwith: Minimum upload rate 70 kb/sec.
Max download rate: 6000 kb/sec.
Global max connections: 200
Max connected peers per torrent : 2329
Number of upload slots per torrent : 14
Check-- use additional upload slots.

3:58 BitTorrent :Check all except-- Limit local peer bandwith
Protocol Encryption-- Outgoing-- Forced.

4:30 Queueing : Max number of active torrents 60.
Max active downloads 63.
Minimum ratio % 150.
Minimum seeding time 0.
Minimum seeds available 0.

5:03 Advanced Setting--

bt.connect_speed -- 28
gui.show_notorrents_node -- false
gui update rate -- 2000
net.max_halfopen -- 500
net.outgoing port -- 50
