Following reports of mistress, France's Hollande visits hospitalized "first lady"

French President Francois Hollande is making headlines around the world, after reports he had an affair with French film actress Julie Gayet.

Now -- sources say-- he's paying a visit to his partner, "first lady" Valerie Trierweiler, who was hospitalized after hearing the news, as in need of rest.

The president had not confirmed or denied magazine reports of the affair.

The British Daily Mail wrote, "Not a leader, just a coward." ...And Germany's Die Welt, "France's second lady."

Parisians are talking about the scandal.
