Air Vice-Marshal Phil Osborn, Joint Forces Command, said he wanted the public to know that at the heart of unmanned air technology used by British forces in warfare were highly skilled professionals. Military chiefs would prefer the use of "remotely piloted" rather than "drone" when talking about systems that are unmanned, he said.
