Elyar Fox: the next Justin Bieber?

Eighteen-year old Elyar Fox could well be the new sound of 2014.
The hot pop sensation from London has already reached tens of millions on YouTube with his single ‘Do It All Over Again’ and been named one to watch by MTV.
The young singer-songwriter spoke about the pressure of being branded the next Justin Bieber.
“I wouldn’t compare myself to anyone because I’m kind of doing my own thing and I’m just making the music I want to make and kind of just doing what I like, but obviously it’s going to happen because I’m 18. We’re all young, working in pop music, so it’s going to happen, the comparisons are going to be thrown out there, but I think it’s kind of a good thing at times to be compared to anyone that’s successful, but I’m doing my own thing,” he says.
Elyar Fox is working hard on his debut album with the help of some of the best songwriters and producers in pop music. But he says he is intent on keeping a cool head.
“I’m lucky enough to have a really good team around me and my family are always keeping on top of everything I do,” explained Fox. “I’m always with my friends, and I think that’s definitely a big thing for me, keeping me grounded, definitely. And I think that’s the same with anyone, you’ve just got to have your family by you at all times and just keep your friends around you and the people you’ve known for as long as you’ve been alive, really.”
Elyar Fox’s debut album is scheduled for release this summer.
