This is one of the sociological idiosyncrasy of the so called intellectuals, I don't know why is it expected from someone (or anyone) to know all these things. I remember being annoyed by the question of who is the president or prime minister of certain country, honestly speaking I don't give it a tiny rats ass unless they make a valuable difference in my life. And for sure I know things from my subject of interest that the presidents or prime ministers will never know. In fact even the bushmen of Kalahari are far more intelligent than us in there context of life and believe me we would look far more stupid if given a stick to light a fire.
My point is, it is invalid to judge people by asking questions that you think are important.
By the way if you are in India and you don't know what is ICC then you are the biggest dumb ass (like me).

They do edit out the people who answer the questions well but they don't just do it to Americans. The show is Australian and they often pull the same thing on Australian people walking around. My friend was actually interviewed by them but since he responded correctly he wasn't shown. I think some of you are taking way too much offence with this. It's similar to what Jay Leno used to do, at least the few times I've watched it. Go out into the street and spring questions on randoms, hoping they'll say something ridiculous. I think everyone getting hot under the collar should just relax and watch the clip for entertainment not for harsh social commentary.

how many informed people did you fucks edit out of this, take the dregs of society of any country and youll have the same effect, i could do this in France Germany China you name it. I am a US citizen and knew the answers to all these questions. Just like people who use faulty statistics to prove a point you paint Americans out to be stupid, ok look at out last few presidents, without taking the whole into consideration. I could easily make a video of asshole French, drunk Irish, and English with bad teeth.

I've seen a few videos like this now and I have to say, I have many friends overseas that know nothing about the US or even their own country. I in no way consider them stupid as they are extremely brilliant and mentally stimulating people. Politics are very unexciting, and I know ALOT of people agree with me on that. Its completely independent of the US, some people are suited for politics and some are not, its expected that some of who knows how many people questioned would be baffled by some of these simple questions. Also they were put on the spot and probably in a wtf kind of mood so thats also something very important to consider.

Oh god, this is epic fail... I am an American as well but I at least knew the anwser to every single question here, and I'm a teenager...You see, even though I'm american, I'm hispanic descent, so I try to identify more with them than I do with other Americans... And to you guys saying only smart people are foreign... the top... I'd say... 20% of Americans(where i am) are significantly smarter than the rest. And that's by like.. 40 IQ points.

I would like to see this unedited. Too many cutaways and answers without hearing the question. Must be nice to walk around and ask questions only to play tape that displays your point of view.
