Increasing quality in building construction and urban development. Iranian officials, businessmen, and investors in real estate market attended a conference in Tehran to discuss ways to improve the façade of buildings to have a more beautiful city and at the same time increase the quality of the buildings and have more durable and reliable homes. All this through requiring builders to get what is called " Technical Building Certificate", a report that embodies detail information about the building including all the material that is used making it.

The head of Parliament’s Urban Development Commission who is also the head of the country’s Construction Engineering Organization says the law is ready to be implemented.

Foreign guests at the conference talked about Iran’s construction market.

Iran is crossed by several major faults, covering at least 90 percent of the country, making it one of the most seismically active countries in the world.
