Akram Baker is a US American of Palestinian origin. He’s a business consultant and political analyst who served as an advisor to the Palestinian authorities leading up to the Madrid peace talks in the 1990s. He’s an expert on the Middle East and writes articles for the New York Times, Die Zeit and many other important newspapers and magazines. As if that were not enough he’s also a great rock singer and frontman of the band The Wild Circus.
