Police in Howard County, Maryland have launched an investigation into the death of a man who reportedly fell into Centennial Lake.

Police in Howard County, Maryland have launched an investigation into the death of a man who reportedly fell into Centennial Lake. Sadly the unidentified male drowned.
The man’s body was found by a passerby who in turn alerted authorities of the terrifying discovery. The lake was closed for investigative purposes but it has since been reopened, about 5 hours after the body was first spotted by the citizen.
No foul play is currently suspected. It’s thought the male was out walking when he slipped on ice near the lake’s edge. The death is believed to be an accidental drowning.
The victim has not yet been identified, but police said he appeared to be in his 50’s.
