Indian captain MS Dhoni says India will need to bowl well to overcome South Africa in the first Test.
India take on top ranked South Africa in the first of a two-test series that begins in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
After winning the first two one-dayers and dominating the third as well - before the match was washed out - South Africa will have a psychological edge going into the Test series.
India have had a poor away record in recent years - losing 4-0 in both England and Australia since drawing their previous Test series with South Africa 1-1 three years ago.
Indian captain MS Dhoni will also have to get used to life without Sachin Tendulkar - Virat Kohli looks set to take his place at number four in the batting line up.
