Surviving Sandy Hook

"I remember... I remember... It's weird, I didn't remember until just now. I remember in the days after, it was so hard to get out of bed and shower. And I remember I just walked around singing 'Amazing Grace' just over and over. It was so incredibly hard. I didn't remember that until just now... It was the worst thing that could have ever happened."

Kaitlin Roig-Debellis recalls the days after 20 children and six adults were killed in cold blood at the Sandy Hook Elementary school.

On December 14 of 2013 the first-grade teacher barricaded her students in a tiny bathroom to avoid the fire of gunman Adam Lanza.
