Las Vegas has always embraced innovative and grand architecture.

A design studio by the name of M-Rad has released a proposal for an innovative sports complex derived from repurposed shipping containers.

Located less than a block away from the Las Vegas strip, the building will encompass more than 40 acres of land. The facility offers multiple sporting options and features three boxy towers on site.

Each of those towers, made from stacked shipping containers, has a specific purpose. One tower serves as a boutique hotel, while a second hosts an organic produce farm.

The third tower is where all the commercial functions take place. In addition to the interior spaces, there is a shallow lake with surfing areas. There are also numerous motocross tracks and skate parks, giving extreme sports enthusiasts something to do in a very upscale environment.

The hotel will utilize natural ventilation. Solar and wind energy will be used in various areas, meaning about 80 percent of the park would be powered by green practices. The complex is expected to cost an astounding $50 million.

How do you like the concept?
