A father, 54-year-old Brian Rossi had opened up a box of Mac and Cheese when he realized the cheese packet was missing. He immediately knew who the culprit was and confronted his son, telling the younger male, named Alex, to stop using all the cheese, but he ended up punching his dad.
Father and son relationships can sometimes be complicated. That appears to be true for a pair in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
A 54-year-old dad and his 20-year-old boy got into a family fight that quickly escalated. Of all the things to bicker about, it all started over macaroni and cheese.
According to the father, 54-year-old Brian Rossi, he had opened up a box of the good, old American favorite when he realized the cheese packet was missing. He immediately knew who the culprit was and confronted his son, telling the younger male, named Alex, to stop using all the cheese.
From there, the debate got heated. The argument went back and forth for some time before Alex lost his temper and allegedly punched his own father repeatedly in the face and head.
Police eventually arrived at the home and noted that Brian had a cut underneath his eye along with swelling and bruising. Alex reportedly admitted to punching his dad but claimed the older man also got some hits in.
Officers were hesitant to believe Alex, as he had absolutely no noticeable injuries. Alex was immediately arrested for misdemeanor assault and battery.
