A new theater display for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows up on twitter, and teases a bit more about what we might expect in the upcoming sequel, and gets us even more pumped about the upcoming release of the brand new trailer. There is so much going on in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie that it's not surprising that it took three posters to make this banner for it, but after taking a closer look we are glad its big and bold because we are getting a closer look at the bad guys that Spider-man will be facing off against. As you all may know, we will see a brand new trailer for the movie hit the web on Thursday, December 5th, but until then, this new poster that was just posted on twitter thanks to a user named Jeser Piedra will tide us all over.
On one side of the display, we see Jamie Foxx's Electro, looking a lot like an updated version of Emperor Palpatine if you ask me, but I digress. And on another panel we see a really cool looking high-tech armored character who we are most certain is The Rhino, which is very refreshing mostly because THIS is the only look we've seen so far from Paul Giamatti on set. If this is in fact The Rhino he definitely looks very threatening, and a lot different than he does in the comics. Also, take notice of that dark figure that is gliding across the sky, yep that may or may not be the highly talked about updated version of the Green Goblin. And if it is, it might be a confirmation that we will see a Goblin in the sequel. Now, we all knew that both Norman Osborn (who will be played by Chris Cooper) and Harry Osborn (who will be played by Dane Dehann) will be appearing in the sequel. However, we weren't sure if we would actually see them as villains until perhaps the third or fourth installment. Chris Cooper basically alluded to this to MTV News recently and said that as for Norman, his role will be more of an introduction to the character and one that he called "extremely odd" which will quote "apparently lead to something more." Leaving many to still speculate that this "something more" is possibly a future Sinister Six team-up movie. So, what do you think of this new Amazing Spider-Man display? And what are your thoughts on these villainous looks? Do you think this confirms that we will see a Goblin in the sequel? Sound off right here, or over on Twitter and Facebook as well at ClevverMovies. Until next time, Im Erin Robinson. Thanks for watching.
