Hollywood heart-throb Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car blast on Saturday afternoon in California. He was the passenger of a red 2005 Porsche Carrera, the driver has been identified as Roger Rodas.
While the details of the accident are being investigated, there are suspicions that speed played a role in the tragic crash.
Now his body of work, his daughter, and who he was is his legacy as the world reflects on an actor who was so much more than a pretty face.
Walker was a Marine Biology major, and loved to surf and had a strong connection with the ocean. Then Hollywood came knocking. His break out performance was in the 1998 film ‘Pleasantville’ and he never looked back.
He did however play a role in a documentary series for The Discovery Channel about The Great White Shark. But his most iconic role was that from the hugely successful ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.
The 7th installment of the film has now been delayed, due to Walker’s tragic untimely death. His next film will be ‘Hours’ which will go to theatres as scheduled next month.
